Volunteers Needed for Caregiving Study
Are you the parent or caregiver of a child with an inherited medical condition? Are you the parent of a healthy child? You may be able to take part in an NIH-funded study looking at the unique stressors that parents and caregivers can face.
Researchers are looking for more than 3,000 volunteers for a study that explores how caring for a child with a chronic medical condition can impact the health and wellbeing of caregivers.
Researchers are interested in hearing about your experiences and perceptions about caregiving and the people who support you and your child.
Your experience as a parent/caregiver is very important to researchers in order for them to learn how to better support parents and caregivers, ease the burden of caregiving, and promote positive ways to adapt.
Everyone participating in the study will complete surveys and interviews about their health and well-being, caregiving experiences, and support network.
